Opening our doors in 1985, Prestige Travel has survived some challenging industry changes. Most of our business early on was centered around corporate travel. When the airlines capped commission in 1995, the need to diversify our customer base was necessary. By the time airline commissions dropped to zero in 2002, Prestige was well positioned in the leisure travel market. The rise of the internet with online booking options was cause for concern, but we learned to navigate sites allowing us to book online for clients. Using technology to our advantage, advisors save customers time and unwanted frustration searching the internet.
As a full-service agency, the ability to issue airline tickets is a plus in today’s travel landscape. Our advisors research, price, and confirm airline tickets for most domestic and international airline carriers through a global distribution system (GDS) reservation system. At Prestige Travel, we believe in providing a personal touch beyond just making your reservations. All our advisors have traveled extensively and share wide-ranging knowledge of many destinations.
